UHNW Housekeeper Opportunity - Manhattan, New York

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to provide exceptional cleaning, organization, and household support in a luxury residence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-standard housekeeping, discretion, and the ability to maintain a pristine environment while anticipating the needs of the household.

We are only seeking candidates who can travel to live and work at the summer residence in Massachusetts, for up to 8-10 weeks, therefore if you are unable to be away from home for 2-2.5 months this position would not be suitable

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and upkeep of all rooms in the property
• Travel to the Summer residence to live and work (accommodation provided) for 8-10 weeks in the summer, typically June to September
• Care for fine furnishings, luxury finishes, antiques, art, and delicate surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods and products.
• Manage laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe care, including fine fabrics and couture clothing.
• Maintain closets and storage areas in a highly organized and presentable manner.
• Handle household inventories, including cleaning supplies and personal care products; restock when necessary.
• Be able to provide family meals as needed and support for dinner parties etc
• Coordinate with other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Special preparations for guests as required.
• Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel preparations for the family.
• Ensure household security and always maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to high standards of hygiene, safety, and discretion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a housekeeper in a luxury home or estate setting.
• Knowledge of proper care techniques for high-end furnishings, couture wardrobes, and luxury household items.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and efficiency.
• Flexibility of hours is key (to include weekends and evenings) and to be able to travel with family as needed to other properties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a household team.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and discretion.  Fluent English is essential
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and reference checks.
