| Phoenix, AZ, United States

Posted Date 9/02/2026
Description

A professional family in Arcadia is seeking an experienced, hands-on Household Manager/Executive Housekeeper to support the daily operation, organization and presentation of a large private residence.

The family seeks a long-term professional who combines strong private-service standards with a practical willingness to perform routine housekeeping, complete household laundry, organization, errands and vendor coordination. This is not a management-only position. The successful candidate will take ownership of household readiness while working in a calm, discreet and unobtrusive manner.

A separate cleaning service will provide monthly deep cleaning. The Household Manager/Executive Housekeeper will maintain the residence throughout the week and ensure that household tasks, projects and service needs are handled consistently.

Regular evening, weekend and overnight work is not required. Occasional event-related schedule adjustments may be requested with advance notice and mutual agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the daily presentation and organization of the Arcadia residence
  • Reset living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and household workspaces
  • Perform routine housekeeping between deep-cleaning visits
  • Manage complete household laundry, linens and dry-cleaning coordination
  • Maintain and improve approved closet, pantry, refrigerator and storage systems

  • Schedule approved vendors and service providers
  • Be present for household repair, maintenance and delivery appointments
  • Obtain estimates, track recurring maintenance and follow up on incomplete work
  • Prepare and organize a child’s homeschool learning area; no childcare or teaching
  • Provide limited pet support, including food and water for two family dogs
  • Assist with private and off-site event organization, supplies, vendors and logistics
  • Visit a secondary residence in Gilbert approximately twice monthly for organization and household projects

Travel time during the workday will be paid, and approved personal-vehicle mileage will be reimbursed.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, communicative and comfortable shifting between recurring household duties and special projects. The family values warmth, discretion, sound judgment, flexibility and the ability to receive and incorporate feedback.

Qualifications

  • Previous private-residence, household-management or closely comparable experience
  • Professional hands-on housekeeping experience
  • Strong organizational and project-management abilities
  • Excellent and verifiable professional references
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and satisfactory driving record

  • Desire for a stable, long-term position

This position does not include childcare, teaching, meal preparation or overnight travel.
