Director of Operations - Private Family Office

Austin, TX (On-Site Daily) | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Overview

We are seeking a highly capable, decisive, and polished Director of Private Operations to serve as the operational right hand within a dynamic, high-performing dual-principal household overseeing multiple properties and a layered team.

This is a senior leadership role in a private, high-functioning environment led by two high-performing individuals with active professional and creative pursuits. The Director of Private Operations will partner most closely with the Principal while ensuring seamless coordination and operational alignment across the broader family ecosystem.

The household operates at a high level and fast pace within an active, family-centered environment. This role requires a leader who is comfortable navigating complexity while maintaining structure, discretion, and operational excellence.

The Director will oversee Family Assistants, Housekeepers, a Private Chef, and an Executive Assistant — driving accountability, refining systems, and ensuring consistent execution across properties and priorities.

While this is a senior operational leadership role, it exists within a private service environment. The ideal candidate understands that true leadership includes both strategic oversight and a willingness to step in when needed to support the team and uphold standards. A strong service mindset, flexibility, humility, and sound judgment are essential.

The ideal candidate is Austin-based, highly organized, deeply tech-fluent, and thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments where ownership, discretion, and proactive execution are expected.
