We are an UHNW working professional couple living in West Chelsea seeking a part-time assistant primarily focused on errands. This is a side gig that can provide meaningful extra income each week. 

Role Overview

The majority of this role will involve grocery shopping, food pickup, and running errands in and around the neighborhoods of Tribeca, West Village, Soho, Chelsea, Nolita, and on lesser occasions, the Upper West Side or Upper East Side. This person will be responsible for ensuring the household is fully stocked. Other tasks may include administrative and household coordination. 

Schedule & Hours

  • This role will require 5 hours per week during 2 days per week
  • Consistency is important

Compensation

  • Initial compensation is $50/hour plus a generous quarterly (4 pymts per year) bonus -> effective starting compensation above $75/hour 
  • After 3 months, there is an opportunity to increase both hourly rate and bonus

Requirements

  • All applicants must live in one of the following areas due to the nature of this role, (if you do not reside within a 10 minute walk of one of these areas, please do not apply): West Village, Chelsea, Soho, Tribeca, Financial District, Nolita, Lower East Side, Soho, or Upper West Side
  • Punctual, reliable, professional and detail-oriented
  • Strong emphasis on sanitariness when handling and delivering items
  • Exhibits strong judgement and common sense
  • Receives and articulates feedback well 
  • Comfortable walking outdoors as needed
  • Preference for a minimum of 7 years of work experience. Open to individuals with private chef backgrounds, but not a requirement
  • Track record of having success and adding value in long-standing prior roles
