Under the direction of the Bay Area House Manager and working closely with the Ranch Director, responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of the residence and other buildings on the property.

Maintain day-to-day cleanliness and overall upkeep of the residence and buildings on the ranch property, as directed by the House Manager and the Ranch Director

Perform hands-on housekeeping duties, including:

Dusting, vacuuming, and general floor care
-
Bathroom cleaning and sanitation
-
Laundry services, including care of fine linens and coordination of dry cleaning
-
Sort clothing and linen, iron, fold, and distribute clean laundry
-
Make and maintain beds with clean linens and fresh bedding as needed
-
Ensure the residence is consistently maintained in a “Guest Ready” condition
-
Assist at parties and events at the Property
-
Shop for household supplies, office supplies, groceries, and occasional personal items as needed

Manage proactive inventory control of household items, including:

Cleaning supplies
-
Glassware, furniture, and décor
-
Bed linens, table linens, and other household textiles
-
Create and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal task lists
-
Observe maintenance issues outside the scope of housekeeping and assist with maintaining a property maintenance request log
-
Communicate clearly and professionally with the House Manager and the Ranch Director via phone, text, and email regarding schedules, absences, emergencies, or questions

Use basic technology, including email, texting, and computer-based tasks
-
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
-
Experience working in large, multi-staffed homes

Experience with smart home systems and appliances

Must be professional in appearance and demeanor required at all times

Must be willing to work on weekends or holidays, as needed; however, work schedule is typically Monday to Friday

Be prompt and on time to all meetings, scheduled work and all timelines established by the House Manager and the Ranch Director

Able for full-time active work in and around the residence and grounds

Able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, carry, move typical household items, e.g., full laundry basket

Able to use stairways, household ladder, or step stool

Able to operate household laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, kitchen appliances
-
Able to use standard computer, telephone and related equipment for communication and recordkeeping
-
Able to provide limited on-call availability and responsiveness during non-business hours
-
Able to travel without personal assistance
-
Possess valid unrestricted driver’s license, adequate vehicle insurance coverage, and vehicle for use in performing job duties and travel among the Properties
-
May be expected to perform occasional work and responsibilities at other Properties
