Position: Property Maintenance / Handyman / Houseman

Location: Greenwich, CT

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required for evenings and weekends)

Overview

A private family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a skilled and hands-on Property Maintenance / Handyman / Houseman to support the upkeep and overall functionality of their residence. This role is ideal for a proactive and resourceful individual who takes pride in maintaining a home to the highest standard and can confidently troubleshoot, repair, and manage a wide range of household systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs throughout the property
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general home systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all systems are operating efficiently
• Manage and coordinate with outside vendors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard
• Communicate effectively with vendors, with a working knowledge of issues and appropriate solutions
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Assist with general property upkeep, including both interior and exterior needs
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Provide occasional support outside of standard hours as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar hands-on role
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general home systems
• Ability to independently diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Experience managing vendors and overseeing external work
• General contracting experience is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Professional, discreet, and service-oriented mindset
