Description:
A thoughtful single father is seeking a seasoned, passport-ready nanny to provide consistent, loving care for his children wherever the journey takes them.
LOCATION
Travel-based (Home base: Nashville, Tennessee)
THE FAMILY
This family is built on a foundation of kindness, creativity, and strong communication. Dad is a dedicated, hands-on parent who has thought carefully about what his children need and how he wants them to be raised. G8 and B6 are curious, affectionate, and full of light, and their parents have always nurtured their imaginative spirits. Dad is looking for a nanny who will honor and mirror the values the children's parents have established together: respect, consistency, emotional intelligence, and a warm but grounded presence.
Although co-parenting, both parents remain intentional and involved. The right candidate will step in seamlessly and hold the family's routines with confidence, whether it's a regular morning in Nashville or a week spent traveling internationally. Dad often works long hours, so the ability to manage independently overnight is essential.
When at home base, the family lives in a comfortable Nashville apartment. An international trip is anticipated for late June, making passport readiness a genuine requirement from day one.
POSITION DETAILS
Start Date: May 21, 2026
Schedule: As-needed, approximately 12 days per month with flexibility; 8-hour days with select overnight stays included. Hours are expected to increase during holidays and school vacation periods. International travel anticipated beginning late June.
Compensation: $70,000/year; $125/night for overnight stays
Arrangement: Live-out (overnight accommodations provided during travel and applicable overnight dates)
THE ROLE
This position asks for a nanny who is equally at ease managing a calm day at home and navigating a full travel day with two children. On home days, your time will center on school pick-ups and drop-offs, running errands, stocking the kitchen, preparing meals, and keeping the apartment organized and well-stocked. On travel days, you'll be the calm, capable anchor for G8 and B6: maintaining routines, sourcing or preparing meals, packing and organizing, and creating engaging moments away from home.
Overnights are a regular component of this role. You'll need to be confident managing both children independently through bedtime and morning routines when Dad is working. Strong organizational instincts, a genuine love of travel, and the ability to anticipate what comes next are essential. This is a role for someone who leads from the front, stays grounded under pressure, and finds real satisfaction in life on the move.
