A distinguished, high-profile principal based in Miami Beach is seeking an experienced,
polished Butler to support the day-to-day operations of a private residence. This is a pivotal
role within a fully staffed household, requiring discretion, exceptional service standards, and
a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
The home is supported by a team of professional nannies, a housekeeper, and a personal
assistant (remote/virtual). There is one child (8 years old) in the residence. While this is not a
childcare role, the Butler should be warm, respectful, and comfortable in a family
environment.
Schedule
* Monday through Friday, primarily daytime hours
* Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and entertaining
* Ability to adjust schedule based on the principal’s needs
Key Responsibilities
* Provide formal and informal service (meals, beverages, guest service)
* Set and serve multi-course meals with proper etiquette
* Maintain impeccable household presentation and readiness at all times
* Coordinate with and support household staff to ensure seamless daily operations
* Liaise with the personal assistant on scheduling, vendors, and household needs
* Oversee vendors, deliveries, and service appointments
* Assist with event planning, setup, and execution for private entertaining
* Manage inventories (pantry, bar, household supplies)
* Support wardrobe care, packing/unpacking, and organization as needed
* Greet guests and ensure a polished, welcoming experience
Qualifications
* Prior experience as a Butler or in a similar role within a private home or luxury hospitality
setting
* Strong knowledge of formal service and etiquette
* Highly discreet, polished, and service-driven
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a fully staffed household
* Comfortable working in a home with a child and maintaining appropriate boundaries
* Ability to anticipate needs and “read the room”
* Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
