Overview

We are seeking a reliable, junior-level House Manager / Personal Housekeeper to oversee and lightly maintain a 10,000 sq. ft. private residence in Miami. The home is seasonally occupied, with the homeowner away for approximately 9 months out of the year.

This role is ideal for someone early in their private home career or looking for steady, low-intensity full-time work. During extended vacancy periods, responsibilities are intentionally light and focused on brief home checks, light cleaning, and vendor oversight, ensuring the property remains clean, operational, and guest-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Home Care & Light Housekeeping

• Perform brief weekly or biweekly walkthroughs while the homeowner is away

• Light cleaning to maintain freshness (dusting, surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchen checks)

• Laundry and basic organization as needed

• Prepare light refreshments when required (coffee, tea, beverages)

• Monitor and restock basic household supplies

Property Oversight

• Serve as the on-site point person during extended periods of vacancy

• Receive packages, deliveries, and furnishings

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed

• Work alongside existing pool and garden staff

• Identify and report any maintenance issues (leaks, odors, pests, etc.)

General Support

• Ensure the home is always guest-ready

• Prepare the home ahead of the homeowner’s return (deeper clean as needed)

• Greet guests during visits and provide light support

• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality

Ideal Candidate

• Junior or early-career experience in private homes or residential housekeeping

• Trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

• Organized, calm, and proactive

• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus

• Valid driver’s license and confident driving locally
