Schedule: 24/7 Coverage – Rotating Shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays)

Position Summary

A UHNW family based in Los Angeles seeks a highly skilled, discreet, and service-oriented Armed Security Guard to provide continuous protection for a private estate. This role requires a balance of elite security expertise and white-glove professionalism, ensuring safety without disrupting the household’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 estate security coverage through assigned shifts

• Conduct regular and randomized foot and vehicle patrols of the property

• Monitor and operate advanced security systems (CCTV, alarms, perimeter detection)

• Manage access control, including screening guests, vendors, and deliveries

• Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activity

• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary

• Support executive protection (EP) operations for principals when required

• Maintain accurate incident reports, logs, and shift briefings

• Uphold strict confidentiality while delivering a polished, service-driven presence

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit

• Minimum 3–5+ years of armed security experience (estate or executive protection preferred)

• Prior military, law enforcement, or EP experience strongly preferred

• Clean background and driving record

• Excellent judgment, communication, and de-escalation skills

• Ability to maintain absolute discretion and professionalism

Preferred Experience

• Work in high-net-worth private residences or estates

• Familiarity with Los Angeles security protocols and local agencies

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification

• Defensive driving or executive protection training

Schedule & Work Environment

• Rotating shifts to maintain 24/7 coverage

• Indoor/outdoor work in a high-end residential environment

• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
