Personal Assistant/Cook

Looking to hire a Personal Assistant/Cook for a principal in Gatlinburg, TN!  This is a live-in/on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides day-to-day personal support to property owner
• Assists with or prepares breakfast and lunch for the property owner (Owner usually prepares his own Breakfast and lunch) – set table, clean dishes
• Prepares dinner for the property owner and any guests
• Manages the owner’s wardrobe care and personal laundry, shirt and pant ironing, clothing organization, dry cleaning coordination, and seasonal rotation
• Handles grocery shopping, kitchen inventory, and household supply purchasing
• Performs light cleaning of the main house throughout the day
• Coordinates cleaning of other houses with Henslee & Clay
• Does laundry and machine ironing of sheets for other houses.
• Works with other staff members and temporary help
• Assists or supervises bed making and cleaning of other houses
• Assists with pets during day-time (coordinating with Head Groundskeeper and Estate & Facilities Manager for back-up)
• Drives & attend doctor’s appointment with owner, if necessary, keeps records notations, lab reports, etc. in a notebook/online file, communicates with family
• Responsible for owner’s medication schedule and healthcare contacts.
• Provides medication reminders and serves as primary liaison with healthcare providers
• Primary initial greeter for all guests arriving at the estate 
• Supports large dinners and special events with other resources as needed 
• Ensures the owner’s comfort, safety, and well-being at all times
• Maintains the written Owner Care Protocol and ensures at least one other staff member is cross-trained
