The Schedule:

The Child(ren):
The family have one daughter who has just celebrated her 1st birthday. She is active, curious, and thriving with meeting all developmental milestones. She loves movement, exploration, and engaging play, and would benefit from a nanny who is hands-on, warm, and developmentally minded.
The Family:
This native New York family is returning to the city after several years on the West Coast and is excited to settle back into Upper East Side life-this time with their infant daughter in tow. They are thoughtful, trusting employers who value clear, open communication and a calm, confident presence in their home. Both parents work from home with periodic travel and are respectful of boundaries, giving their nanny full autonomy during the day. The household also includes two friendly Abyssinian cats.
The Role:
This is a full-charge, long-term nanny role focused on providing attentive, loving care and supporting her growth and routines. Their LA nanny was confident, outgoing and very proactive in her approach which worked well with the family dynamic.
A typical day includes age-appropriate play, walks in the park, naps, sensory fun, and maintaining a tidy child-related environment. Light infant meal prep is needed plus her laundry when time allows. No heavy housekeeping is required. The family values initiative, confidence, and a nanny who doesn’t require micromanagement. Infant experience is essential; swimming comfort is a plus but not needed.
The Travel:
The family spends summers split between New York City and their Hamptons home; they would love a nanny who is open to accompanying them during these periods. Private accommodations and full amenities are provided while traveling.
You:
You are an experienced, warm, and proactive nanny who is confident with infants and comfortable working in a home with work-from-home parents. You are communicative, easygoing, trustworthy, and take pride in creating a calm, organized environment. You enjoy being part of a family’s rhythm and are open to growing with them as they hope to expand their family in the future.
The Pay & Benefits:
$40-$45 per hour
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
All compensation paid on the books
