A well-established, multi-generational family is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Housekeeper to join their household team at a stunning estate in Naples, Florida. This is a long-term position replacing a beloved housekeeper who is retiring after many years—an exceptional opportunity for a career housekeeper who values stability, pride of work, and service excellence.
This is a service-forward, hands-on housekeeping position ideal for a professional who thrives in an active household during visits and enjoys maintaining immaculate homes year-round.
ABOUT THE HOME
- Formal, luxury private residence (14,000-16,000 sqft)
- Secondary waterfront condo used as overflow during visits (3300 sqft)
- Two teenage children (no childcare required)
- Occasional small dog when the family is in residence
- Supported by a long-tenured Estate Manager (12+ years)
SCHEDULE & HOURS
The family is in residence for approximately three months per year, typically in 1–2 week intervals. During these periods, the role becomes highly active and service-forward, combining hands-on housekeeping with elevated hospitality support.
For the remaining nine months of the year, the position transitions to a lighter, part-time schedule focused on ongoing estate care, maintenance, and readiness. When the family is out of residence, the role averages no more than 20 hours per week.
When family is in residence:
- Schedule: Typically 7 days per week
- Daily Hours: Approximately 7:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.–8:00/8:30 p.m. || Some days may extend later or end earlier based on the Principals’ outings and guest schedule
- Built-in Downtime: Generally a 2–3 hour mid-day break
- Flexibility Required: Including weekends and holidays, as dictated by the family’s schedule
- Sundays & Holidays: Often lighter in scope, though breakfast service and daily upkeep are typically required
- Travel Adjustment: Flexibility with start times is appreciated when the family arrives from Europe, particularly during the initial adjustment period
When family is out of residence:
- Remain available on a flexible, as-needed basis
RESPONSIBILITIES
Full-Charge Housekeeping & Estate Care
- Detailed daily cleaning of all living spaces
- Bedroom turnover, bed making, sheet changes, and bathrooms
- Laundry management from start to finish (washing, ironing, wardrobe care)
- Floor care (mopping, vacuuming high-traffic areas, garage floor upkeep)
- Monitoring supplies, household inventory (linens, towels, toiletries, etc.), and maintaining household order
- Ahead of the family’s arrival: Assist with opening and refreshing the residence to ensure a seamless, welcoming return.
- Following each stay: Collaborate with the Estate Manager on light shut-down tasks to secure and reset the home.
Service & Light Culinary Support- Breakfast setup and light food preparation (fruit, beverages, simple items)
- Lunch and dinner assistance as needed (table setting, light prep, cleanup)
- Supporting formal and semi-formal meal service during visits
Additional Duties- Pool deck readiness (fresh towels, umbrellas, light cleaning)
- Gym area checks and upkeep
- Care of indoor plants and floral watering
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Proven white-glove service experience strongly preferred
- Five-star hotel or luxury hospitality service mindset
- Demonstrates a strong, proactive mindset
- Discreet, polished, and highly detail-oriented at all times
- Experienced professional housekeeper with full-charge estate experience
- Comfortable and confident working within a formal household environment
- Excellent English communication skills
- Physically capable of long, active days during periods of family residence
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the Estate Manager
- All candidates must successfully complete comprehensive background screening, including criminal history, employment verification, and drug screening
- Local to Naples with reliable transportation
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $75,000–$80,000 annual salary
- Position is live-out; reliable personal transportation required
