Housekeeper / Household Manager (Full-Time)

We are a warm and busy family of four (two adults, two children ages 13 and 11) with a friendly, medium-sized dog seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Housekeeper / Household Manager to help keep our home running smoothly. This role combines housekeeping, meal preparation, and childcare with light household management responsibilities. We are looking for someone trustworthy, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around children and pets.

The ideal candidate will anticipate household needs to help ensure smooth operation. These may include:

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties

• Daily general cleaning and tidying of the home
• Deep cleaning (bathrooms, kitchen, floors, dusting, etc.)
• Laundry and ironing, including dress shirts
• Organizing closets, pantry, and storage areas
• Maintaining household supplies and notifying when restocking is needed
• Other activities as needed and agreed

Household Management

• Managing household schedules and coordinating service providers as needed (repairs, maintenance, deliveries)
• Grocery shopping and running errands (as needed)
• Meal preparation (as needed or agreed upon)
• Overseeing home organization projects
• Assisting with seasonal tasks and special projects

Family & Pet Support

• Supervision of children (ages 13 and 11) after school and school holidays
• School pick-up/drop-off or transportation to activities
• Dog care, including walks and feeding

Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping or household management preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must be comfortable driving children)
• Successfully complete background and motor vehicle checks
• Comfortable working in a home with children and a dog
• Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexible availability (schedule to be mutually agreed upon)

Schedule

• Flexible hours; exact schedule to be discussed
• Occasional early mornings or schedule adjustments may be required
