A warm, down-to-earth family in Dover is seeking a Companion/Personal Assistant to support an active and independent elderly woman. This role is a blend of companionship and personal assistance, ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and enjoys building a genuine connection while helping manage day-to-day needs. The environment is professional yet relaxed, and the family values discretion, reliability, and a positive, easygoing presence.
Responsibilities include accompanying her to appointments and outings, assisting with mail and general organization, coordinating donations, and providing overall day-to-day support. While a chef and housekeeper are already in place, the role may include light support such as reheating prepared meals. The position also involves coordinating with another Personal Assistant who supports the rest of the family, so comfort working as part of a team is important.
The ideal candidate will have prior Personal Assistant experience, with a background in working with elderly clients (CNA or medical background preferred), and will be looking for a long term position with a wonderful family!

Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm. Client would consider Monday-Friday for the right fit.

$94-104k per year (breaks down to $45-50 per hour), based on experience, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days and a healthcare stipend
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Personal Assistant and/or Companion
- Experience working with elderly individuals (CNA or medical background preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Discreet, professional, and organized
- Able to collaborate with other household staff
Pets: Dogs and cats in the home
Driving/Parking: Driving required and must have a reliable vehicle to use for work. Mileage will be reimbursed. Parking available.
Travel: Occasional overnights at the client's other home in Boston.
