Housekeeper - year round part time private estate

PART TIME HOUSE KEEPER – RICHMOND, MA

Description

A private family in Richmond, MA is seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy and professional individual to serve as a Housekeeper for its multi-home estate. This part-time position will be responsible for performing a variety of daily cleaning activities.  Candidates must possess at least five consecutive years’ experience as a housekeeper, a great attitude, and stellar references. 

Responsibilities: 

• Housekeeping for private estate consisting of Main, Guest, Cottage & Pool house
• Execute daily, weekly, monthly scheduled cleaning of rooms in houses
• Laundry, folding and ironing of linens required (mending or sewing is a plus)
• Maintain stock of household supplies and groceries
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Vacuum and spot clean carpets and rugs as needed
• Sweep and mop hard floors
• Dust and polish all surfaces
• Make beds and change linens
• Pick up and organize living areas
• Clean & maintain outdoor, porch and pool furniture

• Maintain a high level of performance at all times
• Ability to maintain discretion (confidentiality agreement is required)
• Develop and maintain solid working relationships with other team members
• Positive attitude and ability to handle responsibilities with ease and calm demeanor

Requirements: 

• High energy household, lots of running around up and down stairs
• Up for challenges and flexible to constant change
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a housekeeping role. Seeking longevity (e.g., 2-5+ year commitment)
• Excellent references and background check 
• Reliable and presentable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Willingness to work after hours or weekends on rare occasions / holidays
• Punctuality and good attendance 
• Must be fluent english speaking and US citizen and/or permanent US resident

Compensation: 

• $35 per hour depending upon experience
