We are seeking an exceptional full-time Housekeeper / Nanny to support our home and care for our child (age 5). To be considered for this position, you must upload a photo of yourself to the site!
This is a childcare-first role with a mix of nanny responsibilities (approximately 75%) and household support (approximately 25%), including light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and errands (such as package returns). We already have a full housekeeping team on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so this role is not a full-house deep-cleaning position. Instead, we are looking for someone who is proactive, hardworking, organized, and happy to help keep the household running smoothly while providing excellent daily childcare.
The right person is warm, energetic, dependable, and highly competent — someone who genuinely loves children, communicates clearly, takes initiative, and works with a strong sense of ownership.

Primary Responsibilities (Nanny – ~75%)

Provide daily childcare for one child (age 5)

Create a warm, structured, and engaging environment

Support daily routines, transitions, and age-appropriate activities

Prepare snacks/meals for child as needed

Help with child’s belongings, toys, and room organization

Maintain a calm, reliable, and attentive presence

Be flexible with schedule changes and family needs

Support occasional late nights (with schedule adjusted/later start when applicable)

Be available to travel with family, as needed
Household Support Responsibilities (~25%)

Daily tidying/resetting to keep household areas organized and functional

Child-related laundry and organization (and light family laundry, if discussed)

Kitchen reset/cleanup and general household upkeep

Grocery shopping and household supply runs

Errands such as package returns and similar household tasks

Help maintain order between full-housekeeping team days (M/W/F)

Proactive support to help the household run smoothly
Important: This role works alongside an existing housekeeping team. We are looking for someone who is happy to help with household support and upkeep, but whose primary role is childcare.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a nanny, nanny-housekeeper, family assistant, or similar private-home role

Strong childcare experience with young children (kindergarten-age experience preferred)

Genuine love of children and a nurturing, dependable presence

Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive throughout the day

Excellent communication skills

Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

Trustworthy, discreet, and professional in a private family setting

Comfortable with a role that includes both childcare and household support

Driver’s license and strong driving skills preferred (or required, if you want to make it firm)
